Home Remedies for [Hives]
Hives:
• Hives is also known as urticaria
• It refers to development of rashes on the skin
Symptoms to look for:
• Skin rashes, which are raised in shape
• Itching
• Burning sensation
• Rashes keep changing location on skin. They disappear from one area and appear on the other part
after a while
Causes:
• When the skin comes in contact with an allergen or irritant, the body releases chemical called histamine.
The action of histamine on the blood vessels leads to reddish bumps
Natural home remedy using margosa leaves and giloy powder:
1. Crush 20-25 margosa leaves to make paste
2. Add this paste to about 300 ml of water
3. Add 1 tsp of giloy powder
4. Giloy powder is available at ayurvedic shops
5. Boil the water till its level reduces to half
6. Strain the liquid
7. Cool till lukewarm
8. Drink 3 times a day
Natural home remedy using pomegranate and Indian gooseberry:
1. Take ½ glass pomegranate juice
2. Add ½ glass Indian gooseberry juice
3. Mix the juices together
4. Drink 2 times day
Natural home remedy using corn starch and baking soda:
1. Take ½ tub of warm water
2. Add ½ cup corn starch
3. Add ½ cup baking soda
4. Mix well
5. Soak a towel in this water
6. Wipe yourself with this soaked towel at least once everyday
7. This will stop the itching
